SHOCKING: At Least 50 Showbiz Personalities Are Allegedly Included In Duterte's Drug List

According to the Chairman of the Volunteers Against Crime and Corruption Martin Diño, there are at least 50 celebrities that are included in President Rodrigo Duterte's drug list during a press conference held last September 24 in Quezon City.

Prior to this announcement, NCR Police Office Director Chief Superintendent Oscar Albayalde established that authorities indeed have the list of celebrities allegedly involved in illegal drugs but clarified that it is still being validated.

Big names like Vilma Santos and Robin Padilla believed that it would be best not to publicized the celebrities included on the list for it may have a negative effect on their careers, causing speculations in the public's eyes. According to PNP-Chief "Bato" Dela Rosa, some celebrities approached him and volunteered to take a drug test to prove their innocence.

On the other hand, Surigao del Sur Representative Robert Ace Barbers believes that a lifetime imprisonment should be the punishment for the protectors of illegal drugs. He also filed a bill amending the Republic Act of 9165, also known as the Dangerous Drug Act of 2002.
