This past October, the Philippines yet again reached another milestone when Kylie Verzosa was crowned as the Miss International 2016 and once gain proved that Pinay beauty can compete with other nations.

That being said, the newly crowned Miss International 2016 shared her favorite photo on her Instagram account, which is a selfie of Kylie and President Rodrigo Duterte. The said photo was taken during the tree lighting ceremony held in Malacañang Palace grounds last Monday.

The photo was captioned "Last but not the least: My favorite, after, picture."

Many netizens were happy for Kylie for a having a decent photo with the President, but there are also some who were not a fan of her selfie with Duterte.People expressed their disappoint because of Duterte green lit the late President Ferdinand Marcos burial in the Libingan Ng Mga Bayani (Hero's Cemetery).

Netizens were so displeased by the post, one netizen even commented the following: "Nice to take selfies with murderers" a comment so uncalled for.

Before Kylie Verzosa flew to compete in the pageant, she was able to take a selfie with the President during their time in Japan. Many claimed that the selfie was her "lucky charm" because she was able to bring home the title.
