Last Monday, Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano said that VP Leni Robredo has every right to be "vigilant," but it was unfair to finger point on the current administration of being behind the plot to steal the vice presidency.
He also believes that Robredo won the vice presidential elections fairly. When asked about Bongbong Marcos' desire to be the Vice President, Cayetano said the following: "Is there a desire? "Of course. Diba, halata naman na Sen. Marcos wants to be Vice President?"
"If Bongbong Marcos and Leni Robredo have a fight, wag na nilang idamay ang Presidente dahil hindi naman siya kumikilos o wala siyang ginagawa," he added.
That being said, Robredo resigned from her post as chair of the Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council (HUDCC), after she was told that Duterte wanted her to "desist from attending all Cabinet meetings starting" Monday.
"If criticism will help you get things done, that’s good; but if you do the criticism outside, it slows things down instead of helping it get done."
