Facebook user Lee Cañete took the opportunity to warn Filipina OFW's in a Facebook post about awareness in being a relationship with men of other nationality.

He cautiously reminded OFW's to save up and work hard during their time abroad for their future as well as for their families.

Cañete hopes to enlighten their minds after an OFW messaged him that she had an affair with his Lebanese boyfriend and caught Herpes, which is a sexually-transmitted disease while working in the Middle East.
