WATCH: Facebook's $95 Million Sattelite Explodes After Launch Pad Malfunction!

Facebook's $95 million satellite along with the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket exploded during its test launch after experiencing a malfunction on the launch pad.
As part of the company's initiative to provide accessible internet to remote places, it was a setback to Facebook's Internet.org project after the rocket exploded.

The rocket was supposedly set off to launch at Sept. 3, Saturday in order to send the satellite to orbit. The whole explosion was caught on camera that happened at around 9 a.m. Eastern Time.

The good news is there were no injuries reported during the blast and neighboring areas were not affected.

The goal is to provide free and basic internet in other parts of the world where internet access is poor. But Facebook still plans on delivering its project despite the explosion of their satellite.
