Senator Alan Peter Cayetano and Senator Antonio Trillanes IV once again traded blows last Monday, exchanging statements after Cayetano interpellated the latter on delivering a privilege speech about defending surprise witness of the Senate Edgar Matobato's credibility and his testimony's authenticity.
Trillanes valiantly fought for the integrity of Matobato in his privilege speech by stating that there were no mishaps in Matobato's testimonials regarding the killings of the Davao Death Squad presumably ordered by President Rodrigo Duterte.
But Cayetano bombarded Trillanes with questions during the interpellation with the latter making some dodgy and rather unclear explanations in the process.
The video of the interpellation skyrocketed online, gathering the attention of many netizens pointing out to Trillanes' lack of knowledge regarding the law, hence appearing to elude credible questions in his speech on defending Matobato's credentials.
