WATCH: Columbian Burns Pia Wurtzbach Effigy During New Year’s Eve; Ethel Booba Returns The Favor By Torching Of Her Own

Outraging video of a Columbian man burning an effigy of Miss Universe 2015 winner Pia Wurtzbach to celebrate New Year’s Eve has emerged and is making the rounds online on Friday.

It was weeks after the Miss Universe 2015 emcee, Steve Harvey caused a disturbing controversy for mistakenly declaring Gutierrez as the winner instead of Wurtzbach.

Played for a minute-long, the Facebook user who does and posted the burning of Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach and Steve Harvey effigies during the celebration of New Year’s Eve in Columbia was later identified to be “Noider Almanza Barraza.”

Moments later after the controversial clip engulfs social media sites, Ethel Gabison better known as Ethel Booba returns the favor for burning an effigy of her own.

Ethel avenges the foul over the viral video by also burning an effigy of Wurtzbach but with Barraza’s face.

Ethel said: “Kalma lang guys. Ako bahala. Babawi tayo sa sunugan ng effigy. Charot!”
Traditionally, according to reports online, effigy-burning or (Año Viejo) is a part of New Year’s Eve celebrations in Latin American countries such as Columbia and Peru.

It is believed that burning effigies will get rid of the bad and to commemorate what happened during the year to keep the positivity flow.
