#OpPARIS: Anonymous Takes Down 5,500 ISIS Twitter Accounts

Following the hacktivists’ outrageous announcement on waging a ‘Total War’ against the Islamic State (ISIS) who claimed responsibility on the terror attack happened in Paris, the hacking group, Anonymous, reported on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 that more than 5,500 Twitter accounts belonging to Islamic State have been taken down.
Tweeting from #OpParis account, Anonymous stated: “We report that more than 5500 Twitter account (sic) of #ISIS are now #down! #OpParis #Anonymous #ExpectUS.”

Alex Poucher, anonymous’ spokesman told RT, that their capability to take down ISIS is a direct result of their collective’s sophisticated hackers, data miners, and spies that they have all around the world. He also added that they have also people who are very close to ISIS ground, which makes gathering intel about ISIS and related activities comes very easy to them.

Aware that ISIS has its own hackers, Poucher expressed in confidence that the militant group “does not have hackers like we have hackers.”
They picked a fight with Anonymous when they attacked Paris, and now they should expect us.
We will not sit by and watch these terror attacks unfold around the world.
