WATCH: Sen. Leila De Lima Named As 'Global Thinker' Of 2016!

Ever since her senatorial win on the May 2016 National elections former Justice Secretary and now Senator Leila De Lima has been very vocal about her disagreement towards the Extra Judicial Killings (EJK) that is happening in the country.

De Lima has been accused of being involved in some of the illegal drug issues, saying that she is one of the big names on the listed on President Duterte's drug list.

However, due to her bravery when she stood up against the President, the female was recently been named "Global Thinker" Of 2016  for her work in spearheading the investigation into the extrajudicial killings in the government's all-out war on drugs.
