President Rodrigo Duterte and the Philippine Airlines just made history today.

Going down in Davao Aviation history was the first time the Francisco Bangoy International Airport in Davao witnessed a Boeing 777 airliner land on its grounds.

While the Philippine Airlines introduced their brand-new RP-C7778 airliner.

The said aircraft will fly President Duterte to 3 different countries to take part in the 24th Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) meeting set on November 19-20, 2016 in Lima.

This will be the president's debut appearance as the newly-elected president of the Philippines in the APEC's leaders meeting. Duterte will fly to New Zealand, Peru and Lima, carried by the RP-C7778. What do you think of these historical feats?
