Senator Trillanes Reveals Meeting With Surprise Witness Edgar Matobato Before the Senate Hearing!

After surprise witness and self-confessed assassin of Davao Death Squad Edgar Matobato took the witness stand, many were in doubt of his testimonials especially the senators during the Senate hearing on extra-judicial killings.

Matobato claimed that he was hired to kill criminals by former Davao City mayor and now president Rodrigo Duterte.

The sudden appearance of Matobato had many speculating his credibility which led to Senator Alan Peter Cayetano roasting Matobato in the Senate hearing, coming to a conclusion that his testimonials are rooted from a political motive.

Trillanes then placed Cayetano out of order after a series of burning questions to Matobato that led to their verbal clash.

What made things more interesting is that Trillanes admitted that he spoke to Matobato before the Senate hearing occurred according to his statements in DZRH Follow Up.

He also revealed that he had previously met Matobato and said that he had a clue about Matobato's testimonials, but did not know the full extent of his declaration.
