BREAKING: "Queen Of Philippine Horror" Lilia Cuntapay Passes Away!

Dubbed as the "Queen of Philippine Horror Movies," the 81-year-old television personality Lilia Cuntapay passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at around 6 a.m. early morning.

It can still be remembered earlier this month when the "Horror Queen" pleaded for support after she contracted an illness in spinal cord which restricted her ability to stand and walk.

Cuntapay was under the care of her son Gilmore Cuntapay in Barangay Tartarabang in Pinili, Ilocos Norte. Her grand daughter Elma Cuntapay Daet, confirmed her death at around 6 in the morning on Saturday, August 20, 2016.

Cuntapay, on 2011 won the Best Actress award for portraying herself in the mockumentary under the direction of Antoinette Jadaone, "Six Degrees of Separation from Lilia Cuntapay" at the Cinema One Originals Digital Film Festival.
