Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach Urges Fellow Filipinos to Stop Hating And Bashing Miss Australia!

Miss Australia 2015's Monika Radulovic received a lot of hate and criticism from every angle after she guested on The Grill Team, a radio show in Australia last January 18 and said comments that left a bad taste in the mouths of many.

She made remarks on the Top 3 contestants during the Miss Universe pageant last December 20, 2015 and said “Were the only ones that weren't that nice to the other girls.” She also added, “They were okay, but I think that is because they were under a lot of pressure from their countries.

The 2015 Miss Universe’s Top 3 finalists were 2015 Miss Universe Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach, 1st runner-up Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez and 2nd runner-up Miss USA Olivia Jordan. Miss Australia was also apart of the Top 5 finalists along with Miss France.

Due to Monika's statements, she has been constantly flamed throughout social media, with most of it coming from Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach's 'kababayans'.

But Pia defended Monika in light of the hate and bashing towards her fellow Miss Universe candidate, and urged her fellow Filipinos to stop the flaming and hate. She took to Twitter to defend Monika, encouraging people to stop their attacks towards Miss Australia. She reminded everyone to be a good example and avoid fueling hate towards other people.
Meanwhile, on Monika's Instagram account, she expressed her sentiments and offered an apology to everyone who may have been offended by her remarks.
“I always strive to be the best, kindest person I can be. But what I said yesterday came out completely the wrong way and I want to sincerely apologize for that.

“I didn't mean they weren't nice girls, just that they were very focused on what they were doing. I just didn't get a chance to get to know them as much as you would have liked, and that is all that that I meant by it. I'm truly sorry if I've offended or upset anyone, that is the last thing I'd ever want to do. I will choose my words much more carefully from now on.

“Thank you to all of the beautiful people that have been defending and supporting me- I read and appreciate all of your comments and you all truly brighten my day,” she wrote.
It appears that some have misunderstood Monika's statements, but we'll leave it up to you and decide? So, what do you think of Miss Australia's remarks? Feel free to share us your thoughts and let us know what you think by dropping down your comments below!
