With an influx of emotions running through your head during your period, you wouldn't want your thoughts and feelings to get the best of you during this time, as you might end up blasting your friends or boyfriend without good reason at all. So drop the phone for a day or two. Focus more on yourself.
3. Exercise During Period
The last thing you would want to do during your period is exercising. You wouldn't want to stain your gym clothes with blood rather than sweat, right? Hit the gym when your period is over and you'll get better results!
4. Watch Romantic Comedy Movies
While this may not seem particularly similar than the rest, you wouldn't want to have a river flow of blood while laughing out loud, do you now? Save the emotional roller coaster movies when your period is over, and we're definitely sure you'll get a good laugh.
5. Eat Tons of Chocolate
We all know chocolate is a good anti-depressant, but have too much and you won't be feeling too well. It's fine to eat chocolate during your periods, but not too much. You'll end up getting more depressed.
6. Engage in Arguments
This is one you'll definitely want to avoid during your menstruation cycle. Emotions running through your mind unchecked could trigger a word war with anyone your arguing with, especially during your period. So keep the emotions in check, and avoid starting arguments in any way.
7. Get Out of Bed
Women need to rest as much as possible during their red days. It's fine to lie in bed all day, but don't do too much stressful activities. Rest as much as you can, your bed is your bestfriend during these times.
8. Take A Shower
So, you feel like hitting the shower to cool off? Good idea, but it's better to relax yourself in a warm bath rather than to stand up, so drop the shower heads, and go to the bath tub. Works wonders for you, trust us!
9. Do Household Chores
Maybe you feel like cleaning the house and doing some chores? Well, today is not the day to go wash dishes, do the laundry or any of those stuff. Save the chores for another day when you are feeling better and your period is over. You'll get to do more in less time!
10. Run
If you can only run away from your period, then why not right? But seriously, running isn't advised when you are on your red days. Any strenuous activity is prohibited as much as possible, and that includes running. It's better to walk and feel relaxed.
